Midnight crisis

It is 01:14 AM on a weekday. On other days, this time, I am usually either sleeping or reading or most likely looking at something not productive on my phone. Today, not knowing what is different, I am deciding to actually read the blogs in my open tabs on Safari (I usually keep tabs open in chrome, internet explorer and safari with links that I do not want to bookmark as I never return to the bookmarked links). It is a mixture of different kinds of writers’ blogs. All these blogs are the ones I found in bios of profiles on Instagram. One blog is about a person’s solo trip. Another is a review on a movie. One more is on how two people landed on deciding their wedding card. The last blog is kind of all over the place as I cannot not understand the layout that blogger had chosen and where one particular page begins or ends. But what I find fascinating about this last blogger’s website is her choice of words and her writing style. It makes me read her sentences again and again and still not understand what she meant until I sit up, clear my mind and read again. It takes some effort out of me, but it is fruitful in the end.

An idea of how my open tabs look. One thing that needs attention is the fact that this image is edited to make it look less crazy and more organized.

This random awakening in the wee hours of the night is giving me the much suppressed push towards the need to fill blank pages with words of thought. I am still in the path of discovering the genre on which to write and develop my content. But I realize that discovery doesn’t happen when one waits; it happens when one takes steps intentionally or not towards something one wants to do.

So here I am repeating my intention and words challenging myself to live my dream of being a writer. Cheers to me for beginning and cheers to you for venturing here. Let’s hope that I keep this page alive and that you keep investing your time with me ๐Ÿ™‚
